Pott Co Sheriff Patch
A brief manhunt in Pottawatomie County led to the arrest of a man wanted in Oklahoma who was being served with a search warrant by Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s deputies. Undersheriff Shane Jager confirmed the individual, identified as James Wilson, took off during the serving of that search warrant at about 10 a.m. Thursday, with a perimiter set up.
Wilson was later arrested without incident. While there had been reports of a helicopter by the Kansas Highway Patrol, it was not able to be used due to weather conditions. Wilson’s warrant allegedly was for possessiong a dangerous drug or substance. Bond was set at $7,500.
