Fill the Boot @ Walmart

It is time for the “Fill the Boot” fund raiser to help raise money for families affected by Muscular Dystrophy and all proceeds go to local families. The Manhattan Fire Department will have crews at Walmart and Dillon’s West from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and again from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm this Friday.  Firefighters across the country have been supporting and raising money for Muscular Dystrophy for over 60 years.

Visions of the Flint Hills Benefit and Sale @ Buttonwood Art Space

C Clyde Run & Fun Run/Walk @ Kansas State University

St. Luke Lutheran Church in Wheaton will have a Fried Chicken & Ham Supper on Sunday, October 4th beginning at 4:30 pm.  It will include all the fixings: mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, salads, coleslaw, homemade breads, pies & desserts.  (Carry outs available) Adults: $8.00/ Children (ages 5-12): $3.00; (ages 4 and under: FREE).  They will also have a bazaar of homemade goodies and crafts.
