The Manhattan Book Group and VIP (Visually Impaired Persons) Support Group will meet on Tuesday, August 19, at the Riley County Senior Center, corner of Fourth & Leavenworth Streets.
The Book Group will meet at 1:00.
We will be choosing titles for the upcoming year. We welcome suggestions!
The VIP Group will meet at 2:00 following the Book discussion. Our speaker will be Jane Kelsey. The topic will be “The Joy of Cooking With Low Vision”. Volunteers needed for the Cattle Baron’s Ball on August 23rd at Copeland Ranch. Contribute your time toward success of this American Cancer Society fundraiser where proceeds go to aid families in their fight against cancer and cancer research. Volunteers are needed as parking attendants, assist bar staff (must be 21 years old), help with hospitality such as checking tables and guests, serving when and where needed and offer assistance to guests throughout the event.
