The Randolph United Methodist Church will have a Homemade Ice Cream Social on Saturday, July 1st on the Randolph Church Lawn.  Serving begins at 11:00 am and ends when the freezers are empty.  Many fun flavors of homemade ice cream, numerous homemade pies, and ham sandwiches.  Everyone welcome!

Raising Awareness for Veterans Suicide @ American Legion Post #17

American Legion Riders Post 17 Independence Day Celebration, Raising Awareness for Veterans Suicide, will be held on Sunday, July 2nd from 4:00 to 9:00 pm at the American Legion Post #17.  Bike Show registration begins at 4:00 pm.  Registration Fee is $10.  Judging begins at 5:00 with the Awards Presentation at 8:00.  All makes are welcome.  Awards will be given for Best in Show; Best Metric; Best Paint; People’s Choice; Best Cruiser and Best Touring.  They will also have a Silent Auction, Gun Raffle, Beer Garden Food, Vendors, Music and Fireworks.  Entertainment by Michael B.  This will be a Family Fun event.  Partial proceeds will support Veterans Suicide Organizations.

Wamego Fireworks @ Wamego Recreation Complex

Celebrate Freedom in Wamego 2017 – the #1 Ranked Fireworks Display in Kansas will be held on Tuesday, July 4th at the Wamego Recreation Complex – Fireworks are shot across 4 ball fields beginning at 9:50 pm to 10:30 pm.  Arriving between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm is recommended to find a good spot to enjoy the show.  Sit back and relax, while the sun sets and enjoy some musical entertainment provided by the band Departure at the Wamego Recreation Complex.  In addition to the Fireworks Show, Wamego welcomes visitors to the 4th of July carnival, parade, car show and musical entertainment.  For more information regarding parking and event details, visit www.visitWamego.com.
