Manhattan Kiwanis Club will have their 66th Annual Pancake Feed & Holiday Silent Auction on Saturday, December 10th, of Pottorf Hall at CiCo Park.  Adults $5.00 Presale or $6.00 Day of Feed.  Children 5-12, $3.00 Presale or $4.00 Day of Feed.  Children (under 5) Eat FREE.  All proceeds benefit 20+ local community projects.

Holiday Music and Patriotic Remembrances @ Peace Memorial Auditorium

An enjoyable evening for Holiday Music and Patriotic remembrances will be held at the Peace Memorial Auditorium located at City Hall – 1101 Poyntz Avenue – on Saturday, December 10th at 7:30 pm.  The event will be sponsored by the “Friends Of Peace Memorial Auditorium” and presented by the KSU Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia and the Thundering Cats.  The program is free and open to the public.  They will be accepting donations for the renovation of the Peace Memorial Auditorium, which is a “Living Memorial” for the servicemen who gave the ultimate sacrifice during WWII from the Riley County.

Winter Gallery Walk @ W Seventh Street

The Junction City Arts Council will hold its annual Winter Gallery Walk on Friday, December 16th from 5-7 pm in downtown Junction City.  Up to fifteen merchants in the 100 and 200 blocks of W Seventh Street and the 600 to 900 blocks on N Washington will host regional artists and their artwork and offer wine, coffee, and or cider and hors d’oeruvres to the public as they visit each “gallery” location.  Gallery maps will be available at the Opera House at 135 W Seventh.  Then tour downtown merchants, meet the artists, enjoy their work, and find the perfect handmade quilt.  Santa will also be there to hear your holiday wishes.  Join them for local art, live music, and refreshments in a festive holiday atmosphere.  for more information, you can contact the Junction City Arts Council at www.junctioncityac.org, or call 785-762-2581.
