An accident on highway 24, six miles west of Manhattan Sunday evening sent two people to the hospital and affected traffic in that area for about three hours. Police arrested 28-year old Lucas Brown, of Larned, while at the Riley County Police Department Thursday at approximately 3:45 p.m. Brown was arrested on a warrant for the offense of failure to appear with the original offense listed as a motion to revoke parole for the offense of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
