Four people were taken to the hospital following a three vehicle accident on I-70 in Geary County Thursday evening. The accident occurred in front of Marshall Airfield at Fort Riley at 6:19 p.m., when a westbound 2011 Freightliner Diesel drove on the north shoulder, striking a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan which was parked on the shoulder. The Freightliner then traveled across the median into the eastbound lanes, striking a 2015 Jeep.
Those injured were in the Chrysler, including the driver Jennifer Anderson, 39, of Manhattan, and passengers Braydon Anderson,11. Ashton Dyer, 9, d Kennedy Dyer, 7. all of Manhattan. All four were taken to the Geary Community Hospital
