The meeting was jam-packed with talking points that included approving plans for an engineering on-call services procedure.

In addition, the commission heard from Public Works Director, Rob Ott during a public hearing for the creation of a benefit district that they had approved in December.

Keeping their momentum, commissioners listened as Assistant Director for Planning, Eric Cattell spoke about the rezoning of two different lots in the city – one on the McCall Pattern Company property and another that would affect the Independence Place planned unit development.

As the meeting drew to a close, commissioners voted to approve both ordinances at the recommendation of the Manhattan Urban Planning Board.
