Watch out for slick and snowy roads Thursday morning. The Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Department reports county road crews are trying to keep up with the five-six inches they’ve received there so far, but motorists are urged to use caution on back roads. The dispatcher at Pottawatomie County though indicates state roads such as 99, 16, and 63 are in pretty good shape.
Manhattan and Riley County road treatments crews are also out in full force. Riley County Police list seven accidents on their morning incident report, with one involving an injury shortly before 8:30 p.m. at East Riley Avenue and Skyway Drive.
