Two people were arrested in a drug bust on Thursday evening in Manhattan. Around 8:15 p.m., Riley County Police executed a search warrant at 400 Fremont Street Apartment #1 where they found narcotic drugs and paraphernalia.
Officers arrested Jamie Berges, 26, of Manhattan, on the offenses of possession of an opiate
, opium, or narcotic drug, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, plant, or cultivate a controlled substance. Berges’ bond was set at $15,000. She was also arrested on a warrant for the offense of failure to appear with an original offense of driving while suspended. This warrant carried a bond of $5,000.
Also arrested was Johnathon Shuck, 32, of Manhattan, forpossession of an opiate, opium, or narcotic drug, possession of a hallucinogenic drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, plant, or cultivate a controlled substance. He was given a bond of $15,000.
