Shadow Hosier, 27, of Manhattan was arrested while at the Riley County Police Department on February 5, 2016, at approximately 1 p.m. Hosier was arrested on two warrants for probation violation. The original offenses are listed as domestic battery and battery. He was given a bond of $7,500. Police in Riley County filed a report

One missing teen found, another still missing

While one area runaway juvenile has been located, another is still missing. Junction city Police announced Sunday night that Allison Blanco, 16, who had been missing since January 31st, had been located. Two injured in Sunday night Riley County accident

An accident on highway 24, six miles west of Manhattan Sunday evening sent two people to the hospital and affected traffic in that area for about three hours. Robert Haas, 49, of Manhattan was taken to Stormont Vail in Topeka and Amanda Shepard, 34, also of Manhattan, was taken to the University of Kansas Hospital

RCPD Report – 2/5/2016

Police arrested 28-year old Lucas Brown, of Larned, while at the Riley County Police Department Thursday at approximately 3:45 p.m. Brown was arrested on a warrant for the offense of failure to appear with the original offense listed as a motion to revoke parole for the offense of driving while under the influence of alcohol.
