The owner of a Manhattan restaurant charged with sex crimes appeared in Riley County District Court Tuesday for his fourth status hearing.

Robert Iacobellis appeared in court from his jail cell via video feed with public defender Phyl Yau representing him. Yau requested that Iacobellis’s status hearing be moved to await further potential charges from the state. The prosecution made no objection and the new hearing date was set for 1 p.m. October 15.

Iacobellis remains jailed on a $500,000 bond. He faces three charges including rape from a 2014 alleged incident and two counts of aggravated indecent liberties stemming from a pair of alleged incidents in January 2018. All three of the victims in the alleged crimes were minors between the ages of 10 and 15.
