JUNCTION CITY — A Junction City woman has pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder. 

At a hearing Friday in Geary County District Court, 34-year-old Amanda Lynn Edison entered a guilty plea to one felony count of conspiracy to commit first degree murder, according to Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt’s office. Edison also pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to possess marijuana with the intent to distribute. The crimes occurred between May and August.

A sentencing date has not yet been set. 

Edison was arrested in August. The case was investigated by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, Junction City Police Department and the Grandview Plaza Police Department.
