It’s going to be a musical weekend around the Kansas State campus.

The K-State Concert Band Clinic, now in its 26th year, brings in more than 700 Midwest students to participate in workshops with nationally acclaimed guest clinicians. The clinic starts Friday, Jan. 25, and runs through Sunday, Jan. 27.

The event will include seven large ensembles, percussion ensembles, sectional rehearsals and master classes with KSU music faculty and students.

During the three day clinic, the KSU Wind Ensemble will perform a free concert on Saturday in McCain Auditorium at 4 p.m. Then on Sunday, clinic students will perform a free concert beginning at 1 p.m.
