The 2016 Kansas Presidential Caucuses will be held around the state of Kansas, on March 5th.

The Democratic Party will hold caucuses in over 40 locations while the Republican Party will hold caucuses in each Kansas county.

Those planning to exercise their right to vote can do so at the following locations:

Democratic Caucus Information:

Per Pottawatomie County Democratic Party

Pottawatomie county is divided into three State Senatorial Districts. Participants must attend the caucus location associated with their senatorial district.

District 1 has the most counties and an area that includes all or parts of Marshal, Nemaha, Brown, Dophinian, Atchison and Jackson Counties — along with the northern seven-eights of Pottawatomie County. The site of the 1st Dist. caucus is Atchison. Even though many Pottawatomie County 1st Dist. Democrats live in Blue Township, close to Manhattan, (the Dist. 18 caucus site) they will still have to attend the caucus at Atchison High School, located at 1500 Riley St, Atchison, Kansas.

District 17, includes most of Geary, a small part of Pottawatomie, parts of Wabaunsee and Lyon Counties. The site of the caucus is located in Emporia. Again, even though Manhattan is much closer–Pottawatomie County Democrats must drive to Emporia to have caucus votes counted. The location is Emporia High School, 3302 W. 18th St., Emporia, Kansas.

District 18, includes a small part of Pottawatomie, part of Wabaunsee and Shawnee Counties. Those Dist. 18 Democrat voters living in Pottawatomie County will caucus in Manhattan at Susan B. Anthony Middle School, at 2501 Browning Ave., Manhattan, Kansas.
