MANHATTAN — Riley County Police say a teenager was injured Thursday evening after being struck by a car in west Manhattan.
The accident occurred just after 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Candlewood Drive and Kimball Ave. RCPD says a 16-year-old male victim was transported to Ascension Via Christi for treatment of his injuries. Online posts from family members suggest he is expected to be ok.
Further details regarding the crash will be made available later Friday by RCPD.
