One person is dead following a fatal structure fire that occurred Sunday night in Pottawatomie County.

The victim was found as firefighters worked to put out the fire at 13910 Antelope Run Road near Westmoreland.

The Kansas Office of the State Fire Marshal’s Investigation Division has not determined the cause of the fire.

Monetary losses are estimated at $200,000.

The total collapse of the structure prevented fire crews from being able to figure out if the structure had any smoke detectors.

The identity of the victim has not yet been determined, pending an autopsy.
