Officers filed a report for burglary in the 500 block of Denison Avenue on January 2, 2020, at approximately 6:50 AM. Officers listed a 35-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took a custom-built computer tower and clothing from his residence. The estimated total loss is unknown but is estimated to be over $3,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for aggravated assault and possession of marijuana in Manhattan on January 2, 2020, at approximately 8:25 AM. Officers listed a 55-year-old male as the victim when he reported a known female suspect attempted to hit him with a bat. Due to the nature of the crime reported (domestic), no additional information will be released.
Officers filed a report for criminal damage to property in the 900 block of Anneberg Park in Manhattan on January 2, 2020, at approximately 10:50 AM. Officers listed the City of Manhattan as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect damaged the parking lot with their vehicle.
