MANHATTAN, KAN. –

Officers filed a report for theft in the 800 block of Commons Pl. in Manhattan on December 11, 2019, at approximately 8:05 PM. Officers listed a 65-year-old female as the victim when she reported an unknown suspect took her wallet from her purse and used her financial cards to make purchases. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $5,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for burglary in the 700 block of Pecan Cir. in Manhattan on December 11, 2019, at approximately 4:00 PM. Officers listed Frontier Construction as the victim when it was reported an unknown suspect took various tools from a trailer belonging to the business. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $9,000.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
