MANHATTAN, KAN. –

Officers filed a report for burglary in the 5100 block of Vista Acres in Manhattan on December 30, 2019, at approximately 4:20 PM. Officers listed a 24-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took 3 long guns from his home. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $1,200.00. The firearms were later recovered. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Officers filed a report for theft from a motor vehicle in the 3400 block of Chimney Rock Road in Manhattan on December 30, 2019, at approximately 11:00 PM. Officers listed a 44-year-old male as the victim when he reported an unknown suspect took a Springfield 9MM handgun and various DVDs from his vehicle. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $610.00. Police ask that anyone with information please contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
