Anthony Williams Jr., 30, of Junction City, Kansas was arrested while near the intersection of 9th and Poyntz. in Manhattan on August 15, 2018 at approximately 1:20 AM. Williams Jr. was arrested on offenses of possession of marijuana, interference with LEO, possession of drug paraphernalia and a Riley County District Court warrant for criminal damage to property. Williams Jr. was issued a total bond of $10,000.00 causing him to remain confined at the time of this report.
Officers filed a report for burglary in the 800 block of Leavenworth St. in Manhattan on August 24, 2018 at approximately 6:30 PM. Officers listed Sara Hupp, 36, of Manhattan as the victim when she reported an unknown suspect entered her home without permission and took her laptop. The estimated total loss associated with this case is approximately $500.00. Police ask that anyone with information contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
