The 23rd annual Cats for Cans food drive will be taking place during tomorrow’s game.

The drive is organized by the K-State Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. They’ll be accepting donations of canned food or cash starting at 9 a.m. in the Bill Snyder Family Stadium parking lot and at all stadium entrances.

This year’s goal is to raise $5,000 pounds in food and $12,000 dollars in cash donations. All donations go to the Flint Hills Breadbasket in an effort to fight hunger in Manhattan. The Breadbasket provides meals for thousands of families in need throughout the area.

Those who can’t make it out but still want to donate can do so throughout the week at local Dillons, Hy-Vee and Walmart locations.
