Those interested in checking out some of Fort Riley’s historical homes are in luck this Saturday.

The Historical and Archaeological Society of Fort Riley will be holding their 35th annual tour of homes from noon to 4 p.m. The tour is self-guided. Participants start at the Custer House and can follow the route by following a map that will be provided.

The event is open to the public ages 12 and up. Children 2 and younger are permitted in a carrier, no strollers are allowed. Advance tickets are for sale online for $13. Tickets can also be bought on the day of the tour for $15 at the Custer House or at Riley’s Conference Center.

Visitors who do not have a Department of Defense ID card can get a pass at the Visitor Control Center near the Henry Gate, Exit 301 off of I-70.
