2:30 p.m. Saturday update The man shot by Riley County Police early Friday, after an hours long standoff, has died. Lawrence Police announced that 41-year-old Jarred Kemp died from his injuries Saturday morning. He was being treated at a Topeka hospital. K-State reports lowest weekly percentage of new coronavirus cases

The month of September went out like a lamb in terms of new coronavirus cases reported in the Kansas State University community.
