Riley County coronavirus cases remain steady as more recoveries announced

No new cases of coronavirus were reported over the weekend, as more people in Riley County get added to the recovered list. The total amount of cases since mid-March remains at 60, of which 10 cases remain active. There have now been 49 recoveries and one death attributed to the virus. Patient transport van donated to Wamego Hospital Foundation

The Wamego Hospital Foundation has been gifted a large passenger van with a wheelchair lift to help transport patients. The van is valued at $23,500 and was donated from Diamond Health, operating partner of Heritage Senior Behavioral Health in Wamego.
