Feeling more driven as you enter your 30s? That’s because apparently our ambition peaks at the age of 33.

Granted, this is a survey of Brits, but I can’t imagine they’re that different. Aside from how they spell ‘colour.’

Seriously, what’s with the extra vowels?

Anyway, a survey of 2,000 adults found that 33 is, indeed, the sweet spot where people have the most drive and ability to try for their goals. That doesn’t mean that people exactly reach them, however. The main blockades seem to be money, time and just pure laziness.

The main goals people have on any given day are:

  1. Save money.
  2. Eat healthier.
  3. Get in shape and exercise more.
  4. Find ways to relax.
  5. Drink more water.
  6. Read more.
  7. Visit a destination you’ve always wanted to go to.
  8. More travelling in general.
  9. Learn to go easier on yourself.
  10. Pay off debt.
