It’s “Best of…” list season!
Rolling Stone has put out their list of the top shows of 2020. This also marks the first year that I recognize more than two or three shows on the list, because I’ve had a ridiculous amount of time to binge watch.
Here is their top 20:
- Better Call Saul (AMC)
- Lovecraft Country (HBO)
- Brockmire (IFC)
- I May Destroy You (HBO)
- The Good Lord Bird (Showtime)
- Normal People (Hulu)
- What We Do in the Shadows (FX)
- We Are Who We Are (HBO)
- How to with John Wilson (HBO)
- Pen15 (Hulu)
- Bluey (Disney Jr.)
- Better Things (FX)
- My Brilliant Friend: The Story of a New Name (HBO)
- Dave (FXX)
- The Great (Hulu)
- BoJack Horseman (Netflix)
- High Fidelity (Hulu)
- Ramy (Hulu)
- The Plot Against America (HBO)
- Grand Army (Netflix)
Honorable mentions that weren’t included have to go to Ted Lasso (Apple TV+), Betty (HBO), The Queen’s Gambit (Netflix), and Teenage Bounty Hunters (Netflix).
That last one still hurts, man. Amazon, you really need to pick up TBH. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT.
