Remember when Billie Eilish broke the internet with THAT Vogue photo shoot back in May?

Apparently, it cost her 100,000 followers on social media.

In the latest issue of Elle magazine, Billie says that those that loved her in what the article called her “oversize-streetwear, skater-goth aesthetic” weren’t enamored when the 19-year-old decided to show off her figure.

“People hold on to these memories and have an attachment. But it’s very dehumanizing,” Billie said in the interview. “I lost 100,000 followers just because of the boobs. People are scared of big boobs.”

She also spoke of why she ditched her signature acid green hair.

“I couldn’t go anywhere with that hair because it was so obviously, me,” Billie told Elle. “I wanted anonymity.”

The article is worth a read. Meanwhile, as a reminder, Billie will be featured on the latest Bond movie soundtrack, performing the title track “No Time To Die.”

Don’t worry, we forgot about that too. That was announced in February 2020, so like 20 years ago in COVID time.

Here’s her performing the song live at the 2020 Brit Awards, again, back in a more innocent, pre-mask mandate world.
