The Pandemic has mostly sucked, a year in, but there has been a few benefits.

A large number of us have taken up new hobbies, we appreciate our friends and family a little more now that we can’t see them regularly, and we’ve reacquainted ourselves with the kitchen for more than just the microwave or refrigerator.

A new survey commissioned by the Zero fasting app shows that half of Americans have taken up healthier choices, dietarily speaking, and, thus, never plan on going on a diet again.

Which will last until everything opens back up 100% and/or the holidays next year.

“As we saw in the survey results, fad diets tend to be too restrictive and not a long-term solution for achieving whole body health,” Mike Maser, CEO of Big Sky Health, the creators of the fasting app, said. “Living a healthier lifestyle doesn’t have to be difficult—as we’ve seen in the Zero community, it’s often as simple as making one small change at a time.”

The top healthier food choices we’re making are:

  1. Drinking water instead of something sugary
  2. Eating more salads
  3. Getting a side salad instead of fries
  4. Drinking smoothies
  5. Eating more fruit
