TikTok has discovered a new version of The Dress, though this time the illusion is more intentional than the “Is it black/blue or white/gold?” from the original.
The “Mind of My Own Maxi Dress” has multi-colored vertical stripes, helping with the illusion of thinning. The key, though, is the built in belt that cinches the waist.
The way it works is that the belt blends with the dress, so you can’t tell it’s there unless you are REALLY in someone’s personal space.

The dress is $24 on Fashion Nova, though they are sold out. You can get on a waiting list, however.
