Kleenex alert.

A school choir in Chino, California, was set to perform in their district’s choral festival, but the spread of COVID-19 has prevented that from happening, understandably.

Rather than mope around the house, these students set up a way to still perform “Over the Rainbow,” the Israel Kamakawiwo’ole version, remotely, as they were set to do at the festival. Each individual part was recorded and then edited together for a breathtaking performance.

“Our Chino Hills HS Chamber Singers demonstrated resilience by recording their individual a cappella portion of Over the Rainbow in their separate homes, and through technology were able to appear together as a family again,” the Chino Valley USD Youtube post said. “Their harmonious performance was shared online for the CVUSD community with the goal of spreading hope and cheer during this difficult time.”

Gal Gadot, please take notes. This is how you spread hope.
