Witnessed this just this past weekend at Wine in the Wild.

Someone got dropped off at the Sunset Zoo and left their cell phone in the truck, then went sprinting off after it. The driver did flip around and come back, so it all ended well, thankfully.

Cell phones, however, are the top item left behind in Ubers, according to the company, itself. Other items include:

  1. Phone/camera
  2. Wallet
  3. Keys
  4. Backpack/purse
  5. Headphones/speaker
  6. Glasses
  7. Clothing
  8. Vape
  9. Jewelry
  10. ID

I’m assuming by “clothing” they mean like jackets or something. Our mind, however, went a little R-rated.

Uber even broke down the most forgetful cities. You might recognize one on the list.

  1. Austin, TX (second year in a row)
  2. Charlotte, NC
  3. Houston, TX
  4. Indianapolis, IN
  5. Dallas, TX
  6. Kansas City, KS
  7. Atlanta, GA
  8. Tampa Bay, FL
  9. Columbus, OH
  10. Phoenix, AZ

Yes, KCK is listed on here. The article also breaks down weird items, which includes “my grandma’s teeth” and “a sh**ty painting of a moose.”

I really want to see said painting. Can’t be any worse than my attempts.

Find the full breakdown of weird items at the link above.
