Over the course of the last few months, there have been more and more instances of people acting out violently. It’s a terrible trend that is putting innocent people in the cross hairs, simply because they are trying to do their jobs.

These particular flight attendants decided to fight back, however.

According to WPLG out of Miami, Maxwell Berry, 22, was on a Frontier flight from Philadelphia to Miami and decided it was a good idea to grope a couple of flight attendants. WPLG has the gritty details. He was put under supervision by a male flight attendant, whom Berry then punched.

At this point, the crew either had to make an emergency landing or bust out the restraints. So they duct taped him to his seat.

Berry was arrested upon landing in Miami on three counts of battery.

Frontier issued a statement:

“As a result, the passenger needed to be restrained until the flight landed in Miami and law enforcement arrived. The flight attendants will be, as required in such circumstances, relieved of flying pending completion of investigation of events.”

It sounds to me like they should be given medals of honor. And free flights for the rest of their lives, regardless of employment with Frontier.
