This Tuesday, Sept. 29, in the year of our lord 2020, marks a hallowed day for at least two people in our office.

It is National Coffee Day. If you are one of the millions of Americans who down a little bit of the java first thing in the morning, and then continue throughout the rest of the day, then here are some facts for you!

  1. Americans take in 75% of their caffeine from coffee
  2. 66% of women and 62% of men drink it every day
  3. The average coffee drinker downs three cups a day. I call them amateurs.
  4. Americans drink somewhere around 146 BILLION cups of coffee every year. Good lord. No wonder we have to pull over at rest stops so often.
