For most of us, the idea of a four-day workweek is nothing more than a dream.

HOWEVER, workers in the U.K. are involved in an experiment to see if they can pull it off. The program, which is open to 3,300 employees from a variety of occupations, not only offers a four-day workweek, but it also isn’t for any more hours than they normally work.

RIGHT?!?!

Thank you, British workers, for falling on this sword for the rest of us.

The idea is that the Brits will get their full pay for only working 80 percent of their week, with the pinkie-swear that they will maintain their full productivity.

This experiment is planned to last six months and, if it goes well, could potentially  spread across the pond.

I mean, don’t get your hopes up anytime soon. But the hope is alive.
