This is a Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory reference, for the record. The Tim Burton Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is vastly inferior. We will fight anyone that tries to argue that Johnny Depp made a better Wonka than Gene Wilder.

A pair of workers at an M&M factory in Elizabethtown, Penn., had to be fished out of a huge vat of chocolate Thursday. The duo fell into the tank about 1:51 p.m. EST and were not injured, just unable to climb out.

No word on the condition of the chocolate. Choco-surgeons reportedly worked late into the night to save the batch*.

And now a word from the M&M safety coordinators.

See! Much better than whatever we were subjected to in the Tim Burton-Johnny Depp version!

*We made that up. We have no idea of Choco-surgeons are a thing. But they should be.
